Fritz was very uncooperative when I tried to go in for his close-up. I guess sometimes you just need to sleep in peace.

    Anna,
This is kind off topic but I found what I think are some alternate shots from Jenna Lyons’ house. Not the biggest pictures but still as a fellow lover of that house, I’ll take whatever I can get. These aren’t my blogs or anything. Just thought you might like it.
    Happy V-day !!

Love, love, love a scruffy faced little dog… So very cute! 🙂
Can you tell me what style IKEA couch that is? I know you have posted it before but my mind… I have always wondered if they were good napping couches (a top priority in our house!) and I guess this picture answers my question! 🙂

It’s the Karlstad! It’s super-comfy. We’ve had it for just over two years now, and it’s held its shape perfectly. I’m really happy with it—we even bought one in loveseat size for the apartment.

    happy valentine’s day!

Ah yes, this scene looks so familiar to us. We are a 3 pug household and my husband has been unable to sit next to me for over 12 years. He tries to claim his seat but dogs just don’t get the concept of “dibs.”

Love to see your boys relaxing, maybe that’s the best way to spend valentine’s day. Can you tell where the blakent is from? I like it.

    • Anna @ D16 February 15, 2011 at 6:54 am

The blanket is from Fjorn. I don’t think they have this exact one any longer, but there are lots and lots of other really nice options. It’s very. very soft and dense wool, not itchy at all. It was a gift from my mother, and it really is the best thing ever for sofa-snuggling. 🙂

  • Reply kate February 15, 2011 at 6:44 am

    what a cozy scene!

So sweet! Do you groom Bruno often? He’s the same kind of dog that my twinner has except his eyes seem much cleaner. How do you keep them so clean? My nephew would love to know. 🙂

What a sweet photo. The only way M.D. would let me put a photo of him on my blog would be if his head was cut off. Jingi on the other hand would love to take over my blog given 1/2 the chance.
Hope you and your human and fur family had a great day.
    Cheers!!

Hi Anna! I’m a long time reader (first time commenter). I love your blog! So much, in fact, that I mentioned & linked to it on my blog in a post about the Stendig calendar. I hope that was okay! Full post here if you’re curious: http://likewantneed.wordpress.com/2011/02/13/what-day-is-it/ And the post I linked to was this one: http://www.doorsixteen.com/2010/01/21/old-chairs-new-bases/

So so sweet. My life would be much sweeter with a puppy on the couch with me!

Went and looked at your book covers, and I now have a bunch of books to go look for. The covers are great, I’m one of those people that will buy a book, or (back in the day) an album based on its cover. Love love what you do.

Looks like my perfect weekend, apart of dogs – I’ve got english bulldog who thinks he’s still a little puppy and likes to lay on me. It gives me about half an hour before my ribs break :)))))
