Lovely photo. I hope you’re going to tell us more about that piece of art. Is it a print or a collage?

Cassie: It’s a mixed-media collage by my father.

For anyone wondering, the bird (a 5th anniversary gift from Evan) is a replica of a folk-art bird that the Eameses had in their house.

    Here we go again… 🙂

Don’t make us wait too long, pleeeeease.

I know it will be awesome.

Note to self: I need to buy that bird for my birthday.

  • Reply Thessa June 2, 2009 at 11:58 am

Note to self (update): Forget the bird. I checked the price and it costs 149 euros here in Portugal…

I’ll draw one and frame it instead. 🙂

I love your style…you have mad decorating skills. 🙂

I like the effect of the white-on-white of the little spherical objects you have there, that’s such a clean/soothing look. Seeing what you’ve done with white throughout your house has been really cool.

Comin’ over from Merry Mishap! I love the print over the fireplace 🙂

Very nice, Anna! Thanks for mentioning the Historic Houseparts! I had that site bookmarked on my old computer and for the life of me could not remember what it was called! Perfect timing, as we just started house hunting today!
