We spotted this long, low, teak Danish coffee table outside of a consignment shop in Newburgh over the weekend. It needs to be refinished, but really…for $15, how can you go wrong? I think we’ll most likely wind up using this as a side bench/shelf rather than a coffee table, as it seems a bit too large for our narrow living room.
This sweet trio of gold-leaf frames comes from a junk shop in Beacon. I don’t like hanging groups of identical frames all together, so it’s happymaking to find a group like this that’s similar-but-different. One of them has a nice little print of a river scene inside. Maybe I’ll leave it there.
I’m fighting a cold/sore throat right now, with PG Tips, vitamins, and salt water as my weapons. Bad timing, since I’m coming off a 4-day vacation from work! The cold, rainy weather in New York right now isn’t helping anything, either…

Nice table and frames! Those are great finds. I just got back last night from a 3 day trip to Boston, I was one of 4 chaperones of a 41 student trip. My left tonsil is swollen and red, the one that had the abscess 2 summers ago that landed me in the hospital. I hope this is not history repeating itself.
You have the most amazing good fortune when it comes to finding furniture. I mean really….$15
you are rad!
Oh My God, i can’t believe you got that table for $15!
Great find !Sorry to hear you have the flu, Look after yourself, squeeze half a lemon in a glass and 1 teaspoon of honey and eat it slowly, this is what i do to soothe sorethroat…
You really do find the greatest finds. You must have some kind of deal radar.
Good luck fighting the cold. I swear by ample vitamin c and zinc.
I am seconding the fact that you find the BEST STUFF while thrifting. I will channel (not sap) your powers the next time I’m out on the second-hand prowl.
