Dadel fabric, designed by Maija Louekari for Marimekko’s Spring 2008 collection. Available in pastel (shown), red, and bright versions. (PERFECT.)
Maija Louekari is quickly becoming one of my most favorite illustrators/textile artists. Nearly every Marimekko print I’ve fallen in love with over the past couple of years is her work! (And she was born in 1982. Gosh.)

Oooo… I love it! Good find!
Very nice graphics. Didn’t know her.
My duvet cover is actually a print of hers, and when I bought it I didn’t even know! I found it on clearance on Amazon.com, then a few months later I got a catalog from a higher end store that had that same print! I was so happy and wanted to buy more of the print, but couldn’t due to price.
Love her stuff though!

Digging your blog…love your aesthetic.
I love the new Doorsixteen logo! Of course I love the fabric too but your new design is so cheerful and fresh. What a great way to start the new year.
Hi Anna ! Happy New Year ! I really like your new logo !
Love your new banner Anna! And that print is beauuuuutiful. I think I’m finally going make my Aarni curtains this week – I’ve been admiring the fabric draped over the curtain pole in my living room for months now, too afraid to begin.
I love the sparse bold coloring and patterns from these pieces. Thank you for introducing me!
