Fritz has turned into a MANIAC. A teething maniac. Sigh. I know it’s all part of being a puppy, but WOW. I don’t remember Bruno being this crazy. Bruno doesn’t remember being this crazy, either, but he’s dealing with it.

i hope he is not destroying anything!.
in the last shot bruno looks so…..so exhausted by having a new teething little brother. bless!.
He murdered a blanket that was hanging off the side of a chair and left some tooth imprints in one of my wooden vikings, but so far that’s all.
Was Alfie insane when he was little?!
jax was a terror when we first got him, and he was already a year and a half old. he destroyed an expensive pair of shoes that were purchased in holland and whatever small, stray bit of fabric happened to look inviting that day. the chew toys and some good old-fashioned training and discipline (no, *i* am the boss!) did the trick, but it did take some time and patience.
I love how leery Bruno looks in the middle picture.
Chloe tried to chew through everything! Those “puppy proof” toys were destroyed instantly by her. She has gone through 13 harnesses in the 2 years I have owned her. You can’t leave them on her for more than 30 seconds after a walk or she chews them off. But at the ripe old age of two now, she leaves my stuff alone, except for shoes.
Anna, with alfie it was mostly magazines, tissues, corners of boxes……oh & the leather covered strap of my orla bag ( which did not impress me too much ). he got much better though & does not chew anymore. i think he was rather terrible as he had retained baby teeth & had two sets which made him look like a shark. a lot of them fell out but eight (!!!!) had to be removed when he was neutered.
i used to pop an ice cube into a bowl for alfie to lick/chew on & it really made his mouth feel better.
Bought my second puppy only 6 months after my first and even I forgot (and refused to believe) that the first puppy was that crazy …. but they always are! The key is to have loads and loads of things that they are allowed to chew and to get them to understand that they can only chew things you give them. It takes time….
I think I lost about four pairs of expensive shoes (including my favourite pair) to my pup’s teeth last summer. But how can you stay mad at this face http://www.flickr.com/photos/snoopy126/2375483279/
We resorted to hiding our good shoes from her.
Love those photos — especially the one of poor bruno in the middle! I could look at photos of your little furry friends all day long!
Poor Bruno, he looks so sad.
Ah, what a sweet pair. Thanks for posting, this brought such a smile to my face!
Bruno is so funny sitting on the top of the couch :).
Oh no! Someone needs a Kong toy filled with peanut butter!
