The plumbers are finally done, the dogs are sleepy (me too), and now it’s time to get the house clean.
Tomorrow we’re heading out to my sister’s house in Connecticut to see lots of family, two- and four-legged. What are you doing this weekend?

Driving to Mt. Shasta for a family reunion. It’ll be a lotta games, a lotta laughs and a lotta food.
Ahhh!!!!!!!! I feel better now. Ü Thank you Anna. I could stare at your fur-babies forever. Is that too weird? I am spending a quiet weekend at home with my husband and three boys (so it may not be too quiet), and of course Dustin will be here. He’s a butterscotch tabby…(cat). Shhh! Don’t tell Bruno and Fritz–though Duttie would probably love them–he’s a cuddler extraordinaire!
Practice with the band, a barbeque and house party, Sunday lunch in the City, and shopping for shirts with my partner.
I hope you have a good weekend.
What cutie pie dogs you have! I’ll be working on the house this weekend (I’m inspired by your renovations to finally cover up the bajillion paint test swatches in our bathroom with the chosen one: BM abalone) and my friend is having a birthday party on Sunday. Good times…
Have fun in Connec-ti-cut!
I’m going down to County Kerry for a long weekend, its holiday here on monday yeppee 🙂
Have a good one !
are the dogs friends yet? they are sooo cute!!!
have a good weekend! i miss Connecticut!
aww pups!.
this weekend i will staying in, looking after the cheyenne dog & popping to ikea for a bed frame. fun times!.
Bruno has such puppy-dog eyes…
Saturday morning I plan to make a batch of Cannoli ice cream. Then we’ll make a visit to Benjamin Moore to get paint for our back door. And hopefully, we’ll put our patio table together by the time my famiy arrives (to devour the ice cream, of course!).
I’m heading to a Mountain Film Festival tonight (lots of shorts from places like Northern Ontario and Patagonia, yumma) and then hitting the slopes myself tomorrow in a bid to conquer THE FEAR OF THE CHAIR LIFT. In the meantime, I’m gonna be drinking a lot of “Buddha’s tears” tea and stroking the purring tabby on my lap while reading my first Anne Lamott novel.
I love hearing about others’ weekend plans ~ as if I actually get to enjoy them by proxy!
I’ve got to go to work in the library this morning but this afternoon I’m going to the Emley Show to eat cream teas and to check out the goat tent and the gi-normous vegetables…nothing like an English country show…this will all be interspersed with me sporadically checking my new obsession, the website Etsy, to see if anyone else ‘hearts’ my stuff.
Cute! Your dogs are absolutely adorable. Today and tomorrow I’m moving into my first apartment for the first time. I’m nervous!
Staying at home in Paris (France), where the weather is fine. Tomorrow, as every first Sunday of the month, all public museums are free. I will take the opportunity to visit one dedicated to pre columbian and oceanian arts.
enjoy your weekend… i’d always have space on my sofa for a bruno and a frtiz!
Love your dogs!
bruno and fritz are the cutest. 🙂
ohhhh, I love seeing pictures of people well loved doggies!!!! I have a gaggle of chihuahuas (all rescues) myself! Yours is a cutie pie! The poodle too!!!
Thanks, Laura! 🙂 Bruno isn’t a poodle, though — he’s a long-haired Chihuahua/Bichon Frise mix. 🙂
too cute for words.
