I Want This + Vanity + Wearables

Gorgeous jewelry from Kate Miss.

Kate Miss is one of those people I’ve admired from afar for years. She used to have a cool blog called For Me, For You, and now she has a cool blog under her own name. (She wrote a great post about the transition!) Kate also has a fab Instagram (her dog June and kitty Wendy are adorbs), AND she’s a graphic designer, AND she’s a kick-ass photographer (you can buy her prints), AND she has really, really good hair.

I mean, I could just finish this post now and you’d be like, “Wow, that Kate Miss is awesome!”, but THERE’S MORE…because Kate’s new line of jewelry is out, and it’s perfect, perfect, perfect.

Simple Cast Bronze Necklace – Shield

Kate shot the lookbook herself, of course. How great are these photos?! Sooooo dreamy. (Modeling the jewelry is the lovely Katie Wilson of The Good Twin, whose zodiac pins I wrote about a few weeks ago.)

Shop the entire Fall/Winter 2015 Kate Miss jewelry collection and look at the whole lookbook, too. Good luck picking a favorite! I’ve been trying for three days now, and I’ve come to the conclusion that I need six or seven of them…

Hi! This is a question pertaining to the last post: we recently decided that our giant, seldom used fancy espresso machine (Kitchenaid Pro Line we got on CL for a song) was just a waste of counter space, and picked up a Cuisinart like the one you use. When I want to make a cup for each of us, I fill to the 4 on the pot but it seems like a LOT is steamed off in the heating process, so we usually end up with more like 3.5 or a little less. Just curious how you deal with that without accidentally putting so much water in that your coffee is weak. I’m a brewed coffee newb, I’ve just been buying Chameleon cold brew concentrate for years!
