    You woke them up!

So cute. And it makes me happy to see them getting along so well. I still remember that “sad Bruno” photo you posted after Fritz first arrived.

Stop the cuteness already! Looks like these two are bosom buds these days.

  • Reply Michelle May 28, 2009 at 10:28 pm

So adorable! I can see the captions already…

    Photo 1: zzzz zzzz zzzz
    Photo 2: Huh… what’s going on here…?
Photo 3: Oh, it’s our human again.
Photo 4: Man, doesn’t she ever stop taking pictures of us? Not a moment of peace to nap!

Gotta say, Bruno’s fur look sooooo soft and comfy. He looks like one of Ikea’s sheepskin rugs in the first pic. =)

  • Reply lillian May 28, 2009 at 10:41 pm

definitely one of the best things about having two pups… finding them using one another as pillows!

  • Reply Mirjam May 29, 2009 at 1:22 am

That’s so cute! How are they getting along now?

  • Reply mchen May 29, 2009 at 2:18 am

Adorable, and what gorgeous photography β€” great job.
These make me want to curl up and take a nap. WITH puppies πŸ™‚

    So cute and cuddly!
I must say that Bruno is probably one of the cutest dogs in the world. And so is Fritz.

  • Reply susan May 29, 2009 at 8:12 am

sweetness … nothing better than a sofa full of dog

  • Reply Kate F. May 29, 2009 at 11:17 am

Stop it! We are trying so hard to resist getting a dog (timing is not right for us) and photos like this do. not. help.

BTW, I was in Italy last week and ended up bringing home a mineral water bottle that made me think of you immediately, thanks to your posts about raindrops. How cool is that pattern? (Click my name for the post/bad photo.)

  • Reply jessica May 29, 2009 at 11:40 am

  • Reply John at This Young House May 30, 2009 at 7:49 pm

Photos like this make me want another dog just so Burger has a snuggle buddy. Then again, he tends to just bark at other dogs…

  • Reply Susan May 31, 2009 at 7:06 am

Hey Anna! Have you ever made your handwriting into a font? Cause I’d buy it!

  • Reply Lori May 31, 2009 at 7:58 pm

Ok, so this is completely off the topic of adorable doggies but I have to share this with people of a like mind. I have been searching for a new kitchen table and my parents found an IKEA table and chairs being put out on the street! They were taking a drive, saw the couple putting them and God bless ’em, they stopped to inquire and sure enough they were getting rid of them. Ooh, do I love it when things like that happen… I hope this doesn’t come across like I am bragging but I just get a rush when things are a bargain and knew this was a group that would get it!:)

  • Reply jenny May 31, 2009 at 11:59 pm

aww, how lovely. Are the boys friends now?

  • Reply Anna at D16 June 1, 2009 at 1:58 pm

Vicki, Mirjam, and jenny: They are friends some of the time, which is better than never! Bruno still gets annoyed by Fritz sometimes, but such is usually the case with brothers. πŸ™‚

gabrielle: Fritz (the black one) is a long-haired Chihuahua, and Bruno is a long-haired Chihuahua/Bichon Frise mix.

Susan: Yikes, no, that’s too creepy. (Where did you see my handwriting, anyway?)

  • Reply jenny June 2, 2009 at 2:53 am

I’m glad they get along some of the time Anna – and I guess it IS older brother’s prerogative to get a bit cranky at younger brother sometimes…

Apropos fonts and handwriting, there’s a site, you can download a grid, write the alphabet in script and capitals, scan, and it produces a font all of your very own. Blowed if I can remember the name of it… goog it perhaps?
And will we be “binging” things soon, thanks to Msoft?

  • Reply Elfya June 4, 2009 at 9:58 am

Oh! How very, very cute and genuine is that?

  • Reply monique June 4, 2009 at 4:56 pm

I am so glad they are getting along now. I know it wasn’t always that way.

  • Reply Lisa June 11, 2009 at 7:43 pm

    Anna,

I love Fritz! I want a dog just like him.

  • Reply sunny June 26, 2009 at 10:20 am

    awwww….love the snoozy dogs!

these photos made my morning! I had to smile at them!
(and wish I could curl up with them for a nap too!)
