HOUSE: Newburgh + Scavenging

Scavenged candleholders.

A small but sweet little find! Silver-plated “Bead” candleholders, designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk. $5.00 at Goodwill, never used and in the original box. They have just the right amount of tarnish, too.

They come from the Goodwill in Vails Gate, NY, but aside from these candleholders, it’s pretty much (as DiP put it) “stuff so ugly that should have never been made”! I don’t usually even bother looking around when we drop stuff off, but this time I just had a feeling there was something good lurking back in the housewares department…
