HOUSE: Newburgh

Did I mention it snowed?

I’m sure you’re tired of hearing about the huge snowstorm we had in the Northeast over the weekend, but boy oh boy…it’s really gorgeous out there. This is the view from our bedroom window. Oh, how I love snow!

By now you’ve probably seen this amazing time-lapse video of snow accumulating over the course of 20 hours on a patio in New Jersey, but here’s another view that the creator has just put together. Even more amazing and beautiful.

As an Angeleno who has only visited the snow twice, I am a little jealous of the pretty vistas and white Christmases you get to experience. At least everyone shares their pretty views on the Internet. It makes me happy. 🙂

That view is extreme eye candy and doubly so with all that lush snow. Thank you for sharing.

Looks like a painting. I miss NY. I miss that landscape.

It IS gorgeous. I love how you can see how the trees limbs become weighed down because of the snow. I had to go to work today though, I catch cabin fever quick!

How beautiful. It’s summer here in Tasmania but we also had snow on our mountain yesterday. Weird huh?
Ps I was lucky to receive a Tord boontje garland for christmas and found your post on it very useful, thanks 🙂

100 cm in 3 days. unreal. but beautiful to look at.

    what blog-hoster would you recommend?
i’m trying to set up a blog but i don’t know which one would be best.

hope your doggies enjoy the snow 🙂

What a view! I had no idea you had such a great one. Without the cars (and a few other details like the satellite dish) this view is like stepping into another time.
